Weaving Together – Boarding Pass Plus

Weaving Together is a multidisciplinary and multicultural artistic and professional project which is co-realized by artists, professionals and performing arts companies from different countries and which is made of multiple creative residencies and professional meetings in Italy, in France and in Greece.

Weaving Together is presented by Ente Teatro Cronaca Vesuvioteatro (Naples, Italy) together with Tradizione e Turismo | Teatro Sannazaro (Naples, Italy) and Solot Compagnia Stabile of Benevento (Benevento, Italy).

Weaving Together is the winner of the Boarding Pass Plus 2022-2024 program, 4th edition, Line B and is realized with the support of the Italian Ministry of Culture.

Weaving Together is conceived together with Compagnie de Théâtre D’Amato/Stahly, and is curated by Annalisa D’Amato: Italian author and theatre director. From November 2022 to October 2023.

Weaving Together is realized in collaboration with Compagnie de Théâtre D’Amato/StahlyThéâtre de l’Aquarium/La Vie Brève (Paris, France)
and Omma Studio Theatre (Crete, Greece).

Annalisa D’Amato’s work will be centrally based on the mythological character of Orpheus, the ancient Greek legendary hero endowed with supernatural musical skills who ventured himself to the land of the dead to find his lost love, Eurydice, and to take her back to life thanks to his music.

Multiple creative residencies, professional meetings, laboratories, open rehearsal and theatre students’workshop will be the pit-stops of a progressive and co-projected artistic work: a round trip from Italy, to France, Greece and back.

Our goal is the creation of a multidisciplinary and multilingual theatrical opera, that comes out of a ‘common texture’ and that is able to talk to European and Extra-European cultures in the same way.
